New Tech Tip
Pre-Rolls - Get The Timing RightPre-roll ads that run prior to the start of your online stream can be a good source of non-traditional revenue. Keeping pre-roll ads short with a compelling call to action will increase the likelihood that the ads will be effective. Your P1 streamers will quickly get aggravated with long pre-roll ads which can cause resentment for your station and your clients.
Pre-roll ads should be no longer than 15 seconds, but shorter would be better. Follow the pre-roll ad with a banner on your stream's player where listeners can receive more information. Most listeners won't mind a 10 second delay before they receive your stream but 30 or 60 seconds can get annoying on a daily basis.
If you need pre-roll ads created or video footage edited, contact
RadioGlue.
